SIRF’s up at ARC
ARC joins this year’s SIRF and Fringe Festival with a fantastic line up of events taking place at the venue throughout the weekend.
Spanning the daylight hours of the entire weekend, (with Friday sneaked in), festival goers can enjoy an abundance of live acoustic music from midday right through until 8pm in ARC’s cafe bar. Various artists will perform a range of mellow music throughout the day in the intimate surroundings over a bite to eat.
In keeping with the festival vibe that inevitably accompanies the great British Summer, ARC is going after hours with Festival Club. Shifting to the opposite end of the spectrum from the day’s events, this funky new club night for the Friday and Saturday nights has been organised exclusively for the Riverside Festival.
After 23 years, SIRF 2010 promises to be an extraordinary year and ARC is delighted to be contributing by offering these additional events designed to complement the festival activity.
As the town centre is transformed into an arena for street theatre, circus, dance, music and pyrotechnics delivered by world class artists and performers and with its proximity, ARC is to be brought into the folds of this transformation.
Teesside festival fans could travel the length and breadth of the country to see fine music acts, top name bands, gangsta scrabble, the UK’s largest carnival and a matchless stand-up comedy programme. But the truth is, it’s all right here on their doorstep.
