Originally created in 1998, The Featherstonehaughs Draw On The Sketchbooks Of Egon Schiele brings to life the tormented and stunning artistic vision of Austrian expressionist visual artist Egon Schiele.

Loaded with energy and  a new six strong all male Featherstonehaugh company, the show has been dynamically re-worked featuring entirely new music played live with striking costumes by three times Oscar winner Sandy Powell.

The Featherstonehaughs (and all female co-company The Cholmondeleys) have been working under director Lea Anderson, one of the most important figures in British contemporary dance, for over 25 years.

They have performed her groundbreaking and distinctive choreography all over the world and past works include Dancing On Your Grave, Flesh and Blood, Double Take and Featherstonehaughs Go Las Vegas.

Challenging and exciting, visually stunning and often featuring unique music, the next Lea Anderson work is always an eagerly anticipated event. Check out an interview with Lea here.

“As unnerving as some of the Schiele’s portraits themselves” Live Art Magazine

“Unconventionality is a hallmark of Anderson’s choreography. It has far more to do with individuality than traditional dance technique.” The Times

“The Featherstonehaughs have delivered one of those rare experiences that goes on reverberating long after the event.” The Independent
