Diversity Action Plan
Following the completion of a Diversity Audit during the month of February 2005 Stockton Arts Centre is establishing a plan for achieving the first steps towards meeting our commitment to equality. The Diversity Action Team has developed this first Action Plan for discussion by the the Board which is the body responsible for monitoring its implementation.
The objectives contained within the Plan are a response to the results of the Audit undertaken by the Diversity action Team and the results of the Diversity Survey undertaken amongst Staff and members of the Board.
The purposes of this Plan are to encourage a culture of mutual support for staff, artists and patrons leading to the retention and recruitment of high quality staff and the development of new diverse audiences for activities promoted by Stockton Arts Centre.

- Actively tackling any discrimination, and promoting equal opportunities;
- Encouraging, supporting and helping all patrons, students and staff to reach their full potential;
